John W. Woodward

I am pleased to recommend www.vocation.com to those discerning a vocation to the ministerial priesthood and/or consecrated religious life as well as to Serrans and other members of the laity interested in fostering Church vocations. The site meets an important need with its positive and challenging focus, its wealth of educational and formational materials such as prayers, articles, books etc.  The vocation reality section presenting practical questions to and answers from Fr. Anthony Bannon, L.C., a priest with a wealth of experience in the vocations field, is of particular value.

Diocesan and religious order vocations directors from eight countries are currently using the site to assist young people at various stages of vocation discernment.  Interaction with the vocation.com site by people from 26 countries on all six continents emphasizes its value as a vocation promotion resource across the Universal Church.
