The directors of vocation.com, Danny and Jackie Gonzales, along with their children Daniel, Allie, and Laura, and vocation.com's Fr Anthony Bannon, LC, met Pope John Paul II in a private audience at 10:30am on January 2nd, 2004.  They presented him with a special Christmas gift from vocation.com: 125,000 hours of Adoration for Vocations! - the fruits of a 6 month campaign which had the original goal of reaching 100,000 hours.
 

The Christmas gift to the Holy Father was presented in the form of a "spiritual bouquet" - a leather folder describing the Adoration for Vocations campaign and the countries of those who participated in this campaign.

A monstrance was also presented to the Holy Father, and with a smile of gratitude he blessed it. Affixed to the monstrance is a plaque with the words, "Presented to His Holiness, John Paul II, by vocation.com on December 25th, 2003. In honor of his 25 years as Christ's Vicar on Earth, 125,000 hours of Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations were offered by adorers from 41 countries on 5 continents."
 

Those who participated in this campaign were from the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Madagascar, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Swaziland, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe.
