	Caroline asks: I am now 33 years old and still single. As old as I am now, I am still having a difficult struggle in search of my vocation in life. Yes, I have been praying a lot but it seems that I am leading nowhere in my life. Life can turn out to be very meaningless in that search of direction in life. Talking from the emotional aspects, I do feel frustrated as the answer is no where to be found..... Anyway, at the age of 33, Jesus has already accomplished his mission for His Father. Here am I, not knowing what to do with life except the ordinary routines.
	Dear Caroline, From what you say, it seems that you now need to take another step. You have been praying. That is good. Now I think you have to start doing something. Try to get a spiritual director, and among other things go into the reasons you are still single, what is most important for you in life, what your prayer has consisted in. Questions like that will help you discover where God is leading you. Then, see what you can do for others now - maybe some charitable work, or teaching the faith to others - dont put this off. If you think you might be called to give your life totally to God, start looking actively for the place it might be. Visit, get to know groups that interest you, talk over your impressions with your spiritual director. This of course will also give you even more concrete things to bring to your prayer. God bless.
