It depends on the reasons that you were not accepted. If the reasons were of a nature that can be resolved (you were in debt, or needed to complete your studies, for example) then there is still a possibility that you may have a vocation. However, when the reason you are not accepted is something like that, you will generally be told so more clearly and you will be encouraged to overcome the obstacle and make an application later.  

If the reasons are more fundamental (a chronic health problem, for example, or not being one for community life), then you can most probably conclude that you have received an answer to your vocational quest. I do recommend that you talk this over with someone who knows you well, or with a priest in confession where you can ask and answer many questions until you are at ease with the answer.
