	Judy asks: I'm 36 years old. I've recently quit my job because I really feel God calling me to consecrate my whole self to Him. I was recently with the Protestant church for the past 5 years and just recently came back home. God has been speaking so strongly to my heart but I'm still not sure what He is calling me to. I want so badly to help Jesus and Mary in reaching people. My husband wants me to go back to work because he's more concerned with monetary issues. I 'm getting very discouraged and confused about what to do in addition to prayer, Mass, confession and visiting the Blessed Sacrament. I have been shedding many tears lately. Today I went out to look for a job but once again, I feel a stronger urge to work for the kingdom of God. Please help me and pray for me. God bless you!
	Dear Judy: I will certainly pray for you. Don't forget that if Jesus is calling you to reach people with his message, that means first of all those he placed closest to you - your family. Our first call is to live the concrete call he has given us - you as a wife, and mother if he gives you that grace. That takes dedication which might seem to us like time taken from other good things we would like to do, but not so. This is where you can please God. And as both you and your husband grow closer to God, you can gradually shift the priorities of your life from the material to the spiritual. God bless.
