Dear Kevin,  

Once you get received into the Church and confirmed you will have over a year before you can be accepted into a seminary or religious order, so it would be wise to use that time to deepen in your understanding of the grace you have been given in your conversion, and to visit places where you think God might want you to serve him.  

First ask yourself if the Holy Spirit is leading you more in the direction of contemplative or active life, and if active, to service at home or on the missions. And trust in God's providence.  

The vocation director of your local diocese is sure to have on hand a booklet describing different religious orders of brothers, ask for one and read through it. As you look around, God will put you in touch with the religious family he wants for you.  

Pray often. I do not think your age will be a problem, but that is up to each group you get in contact with to tell you, since their admissions policies vary.
