You learn more about being a sister by visiting the order you are interested in, and speaking with the sisters there. Ask them if they have any live-in programs (these can vary from short retreats to longer Come and See programs) that you can attend.

However, what you will be trying to do is not simply to see if you enjoy it, because enjoy is a very poor word. What you want to see is if you fit in, if you feel at home in order to see if it is probable that God is calling you there. In any vocation, you are bound to be confronted with things that mean a real, substantial sacrifice (poverty, chastity, obedience, service) and most of us don't enjoy sacrifice, but that will not mean that it is not your calling. But if you do find it is your calling you will also find in your love for God and the people you will serve the motives to do what is difficult with joy.
