Should I be attending a Catholic school?

Ron asks:

If I feel that God is calling me to a vocation or to be a youth minister in the Catholic Church, should I be attending a Catholic school if it is available to me?

Dear Ron:

On the surface, it would be the logical thing to do, especially if the Catholic identity of the school is strong, the faith is taught according to the new Catechism of the Catholic Church, and you have ample opportunity to practice the Sacraments there.
