What if you feel a call to vocation but can't quite buy all the Catholic doctrine?

Solange asks:

What if you feel a call to vocation but can't quite buy all the Catholic doctrine? I was raised Protestant and can't get into the praying to the saints thing. I have other differences, too, but that's one.

Dear Solange,

I think you need to go deeper in your understanding of the Catholic faith. Keep Christ at the center, get to know him, ask the Holy Spirit for the gift of understanding, and study your faith.

A good source is the Catholic Answers website.

God bless.
