www.vocation.com - This totally awesome guy or a nun?

	Melissa asks: Ok, I love God, and I feel strongly called to become a nun, but I'm also in love with this totally awesome guy, who I want to marry and who feels the same about me. I know there's no way to do both, but I don't know which I'm being called to do more! What can I do, aside from praying? (It's not that I have anything against praying, but I do that already, and I'm in need of another way of figuring it out.) God bless!
	Dear Melissa, There is no easy way to answer your question and be absolutely sure. You are going to have to trust in the graces you have received in your prayer, and choose either religious life or marriage, whichever seems to have the most and most important signs pointing towards it. It will be good to have the help of a spiritual director to be as thorough and honest as possible in your decision. Once you decide it is important that your decision is firm, and you don't re-think it continually. Neither vocation, to marriage or religious life, will be secure otherwise. God bless.
