A Message from Fr Anthony
It is very heartening that in the midst of all the economic turmoil, vocation.com has been able to launch the first phase of our new website as well as our sister site for vocation promoters, Vocationactionnetwork.org, thanks to the very generous help of a lay couple who loves the Church and loves vocations. We are now entering Phase II, which will make the site an even better tool for young people searching for encouragement, light and direction to discover and follow their call. To reach and serve those young people we need your help. We need to raise $40,000 to continue our build-out.
This build-out will enrich the original vocation.com English site, and its sister sites in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. (In the past month we had visitors from eighty-six countries, with nearly half of the contacts from the United States!) The potential audience is every young person with Vocation on his or her mind, and a computer within reach.
Exactly What Will We Do With Your Help?
vocation.com will add an Online Coffee House, offering message boards to unite those discerning a vocation with peers and vocation directors.
Prayer requests will become more interactive, connecting those seeking prayer with those offering their prayers and sacrifices for them.
We want to simplify the way young men using our site can connect directly with their own diocesan vocation directors.
But we can't do it without you! Please help us generously so that together we can support consecrated and priestly vocations to serve in and through the Church, worldwide.
